How Do I Know If My Baby Has Colic?

  • It's normal for babies to cry, but if they cry more than 3 hours a day, 3 days a week for at least 1 week, then they may have infant colic.
  • Colic occurs more often in the afternoon and evening.

  • It's hard to soothe or settle your baby
  • The baby clenches their fists when crying
  • Babies with colic often bring their knees up to their tummy or arch their back
